John Zak was born and raised in Mill Valley, where he attended Tamalpais High School. For over 35 years, he was a trusted and dedicated local plumber, known for his reliability and commitment to his craft.

He lived by strong core values of honesty, dependability, and community involvement. John and Zak Plumbing were long-time supporters of Kiddo and the Tam High Foundation. Outside of work, he found joy in golf, motorcycle riding, and creating copper sculptures, an art form that reflected both his skill and creativity.
